Wynola Boomerang Beach NSW
To say she is magnificent is an understatement! This beautifully restored Queenslander named, Wynola offers guests the ultimate beach holiday at Boomerang Beach on the Mid North Coast NSW.
Being a Queenslander the home has two full length verandahs hugging the house that offers plenty of places for informal dining and relaxation. There has been no expense spared in the renovation and decorating of Wynola with quality fixtures, fittings, furniture and furnishings.
Situated right opposite Boomerang Beach, Wynola offers a relaxed holiday with plenty of surf, sand and bushwalking. Blueys Beach shopping centre is a quick drive up the hill or a 15 minute walk which is great for some exercise and to soak in the atmosphere of the area.
My first impression as I entered the home was 'wow'. It is stunning!
A sweet fragrance permeates throughout and you can tell that a lot of thought and hard work has gone into bringing this home back to the grand lady she once must have been. The decor keeps the heritage feel and is cleverly blended with a beach mood.
There are four bedrooms at Wynola with two at the front of the home and the others at the back. All the bedrooms have quality linen, and the rooms are tastefully decorated. Each bed, in my opinion, just screamed 'come lay down on me' and the bed I chose, a King Size in the main bedroom was extremely comfortable. The adjacent bedroom to the main has a small sunroom and daybed and the room has French doors leading out to the side verandah.
If you love heritage homes then I think you will adore the two bathrooms that have been designed to look original with the added features of being modern and bright.
Personally, when I'm staying at a property like Wynola I'd rather make the most of the amazing kitchen and dining areas rather than dine out. This kitchen offers everything a Master Chef could want. It is roomy, with quality appliances and the kitchen windows are all stained glass. The window alongside the bench opens up to let guests enjoy both the indoors and outdoors at the same time. As well as the main kitchen, a small nook next door provides a coffee machine, microwave and bar fridge.
Guests are welcome to utilise the fire pit area, bbq, outside shower and the laundry. There is ample parking on the property. The owners of the property, Glen and Bee, are only a text message away should you require any help during your stay.
Wynola is a 'home away from home' so you can arrive without having to bring too much. Included in your stay:
