Garden Mania Lifestyle Centre Boambee
On a recent trip to Coffs Harbour I stayed at a fantastic Airbnb in Boambee in close proximity to Garden Mania, a lifestyle centre on the North Coast of NSW.
The online reviews of Garden Mania were great so I put a visit to the tourist attraction on my itinerary.
Garden Mania is situated within a picturesque lake setting showing off local birdlife and an abundance of greenery. As soon as I stepped out of the car I knew I was going to enjoy my visit here.
The centre incorporates The Secret Garden Cafe, Willy Wagtail Homewares, a plant nursery, furniture store, and even frog tours! Unfortunately, my timing wasn't right for a frog tour so I missed out on that.
The Secret Garden Cafe
It was morning tea time so I decided on a homemade scone with jam and cream and a soy cappuccino. The coffee was great and the scone had a soft texture and a slightly fragrant taste that I can't pinpoint to describe.
I enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine, overlooking the pond watching the water birds as I scoffed down my scone.
The cafe has a great selection on the menu, a delightful inside/outside seating area and friendly staff. Check out their Facebook page for functions and high-tea.
Willy Wagtail Homewares
Deborah's gift shop is an absolute delight to browse around. There are so many beautiful gifts to choose from that it is almost predictable you won't be able to resist buying something!
The collection of stock at Willy Wagtail Homewares is carefully curated including contemporary and classic designs. I couldn't resist buying myself a couple of treats; a glasses case and beautiful hand cream.
Garden Centre
As a keen gardener myself, I enjoyed looking at the beautiful plants for sale in the nursery. There is a range of outdoor and indoor plants that are all lovingly cared for.
I bought myself another gift; this beautifully crafted Kokedama which is now displayed in my loungeroom below.
