Airbnb Review Boambee NSW North Coast

Airbnb Boambee NSW

As soon as I pulled up in the driveway to the Boambee Airbnb I had booked, I knew I was in for a treat.

Boambee is a beautiful part of NSW and I was about to spend a night in a self-contained cottage overlooking a pond and rainforest.

On arrival, I was warmly greeted by Herbie. Alison, the host, had already mentioned that Herbie would most likely greet me when I arrived with his tail wagging.

Herbie escorted me down the path where I met Alison, who had just finished cleaning the premises. Alison gave me a quick run-down and then I was left to bask in this tranquil space.

I fell instantly in love with the verandah and the outlook! The tranquillity was just what I needed to unwind after driving three hours and feeling rather frazzled from the drive. Yes, I did take one quick stop as recommended!

On entering the cottage I was very impressed with the decor, layout and how clean the home was. The kitchen is well-equipped and you could certainly cook up a storm!

The bathroom is roomy with plenty of space, clean towels and laundry facilities hidden behind the cupboards.

There is a very homely feeling, and even though it is at the back of the main house it is totally private.

I certainly felt relaxed as I settled in and regretted I hadn't booked in for two nights, so I hopped online to book an extra night, but unfortunately it was already booked.

I can highly recommend staying at this Airbnb on the North Coast NSW and I am looking forward to staying again.

Things to do in the area

Take a morning walk. I walked for 5kms and found a banana plantation.
